After the establishment of the first RFT-Team in Germany, RFT-Hildesheim, Nico Welko, who oversees RFT Europe has now initiated a new RFT-Team. In Dortmund, you can now officially learn and train Luta Livre with RFT quality and under the direction of an RFT-Black belt. However, the offer will be extended gradually. The city of Dortmund has the third largest population in the state of North Rhine Westphalia; which is also the state with the largest population in Germany. "I am very pleased that we were able to expand our RFT family by adding a new team here in Germany. It will certainly not, in the long term, only be this new team because the demand for affiliation is large" explains Nico Welko. He further added that at the European level and even outside Europe the interest is growing and requests are rapidly increasing. “However, for us it is the quality assurance that is very important and thus our first responsibility. So we want to establish well-educated and consistently supported RFT Coaches and Teams and we don't want simply to expand by the fastest means at the expense of our integrity and quality standards" The Black Belt also reported that other new RFT-Teams will be announced as soon as the fulfillment of the official requirements to represent RFT is completed.
