(RIO) Saturday night Victor Loyd won the first belt under RFT Muskogee in a quick fight but with an efficient completion at Xtreme Heat for the XFI Championship. He submitts his opponent Antonio Taylor under 40 seconds with a Armbar that actually forces his opponent to tap twice. The event was held at Phoenix Expo Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
In Brazil, the RFT also had other quick and successful fights. Bete Tavares won in the Shooto Brazil Luciana Pereira (Nova Uniao) in Brasilia last friday night. Victory came early in the second-round after a knockout. Luciana injured his mouth, which was cut and had to undergo medical intervention. Now Bete is a 3-2-1.
Jorge Blade won on Saturday night at the Vale Fighting Championship in Taubate, Sao Paulo. He knockout Janio Carvalho at 1'25" in the first-roud.
Ty Pilgrim promises more victories for RFT USA. "We are very proud to have won or first belt under the RFT flag. I promise plenty more to come". The XFI organization praised Loyd's fight. "Victor is a truly amazing fighter and now he is a truly amazing champion", they posted in Facebook.
